How do I take my DISC assessment?

Open the Full Assessment and answer 28 forced-choice questions. It takes about 8 minutes on mobile or desktop. No account required to start. We save your progress in the browser so you can step away and come back.

If you just want a quick read, try the 5-question free screener on the home page. It lands a primary type in under 90 seconds.

How do I see my profile after I finish?

Your report opens automatically on the last question. You can also:

  • Visit your dashboard any time after signing in.
  • Use the link in the receipt email we sent you.
  • Share a public profile card with friends, teammates, or hiring managers.

Your profile lives at a stable URL (for example /report-D). Bookmark it.

What is DISC, in one paragraph?

DISC is a model for how people communicate and handle pressure. It maps four tendencies: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Conscientiousness. Most of us are a blend of two. Knowing your blend makes it easier to read yourself in a meeting, on a deadline, or in a disagreement, and makes it easier to read other people too. William Marston published the theory in 1928. The model is public-domain and widely used in teams, sales, and coaching. See The Science for our approach and sources.

How accurate is a short assessment?

Our 5-question free screener lands the right primary type around 70 percent of the time. The full 28-question assessment uses forced-choice scoring and scenario items, which gets us past 85 percent on the primary type and well into the subtype tier. No personality model is perfect, but ours is tuned for action: even a near-miss gives you useful communication guidance.

How do I share my profile?

Every profile has a shareable card. On your report page, tap "Share" and pick a platform, or copy a direct link. The card renders correctly on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, iMessage, and Slack. You can also send a friend the 5-question screener and compare blends.

Can I retake the assessment?

Yes. Use the "Retake" button on your dashboard. Your older result is preserved in your history so you can see how you have shifted over time. Most people's type stays stable; what tends to move is the secondary blend.

Teams

How do I invite my team?

Once your team plan is active, open the team dashboard and either:

  • Paste a list of names and emails into the roster importer.
  • Upload a CSV (we accept common formats, including TSV, BOM, and European semicolons).
  • Add members one at a time.

We send each teammate a warm invite email with a direct link. If someone misses it, you can re-send the invite from the dashboard.

How many seats do I have?

Seat limit is shown at the top of your team dashboard. Our standard team plan is 15 seats for 1 year. Need more? Email hello@wiredtype.com and we will spin up the right size for you.

Can I add or remove team members later?

Yes. From the team dashboard you can remove a member (their seat frees up) and invite a replacement. Removed members keep their personal profile; they just stop seeing the team view.

What does the admin see about each team member?

The admin sees each teammate's DISC type, communication tips, pair-wise chemistry, and the overall team map. Admins never see raw assessment answers. That stays private to the person who answered.

Billing & refunds

How do I cancel?

One click from your account page. No phone tree, no email-to-cancel runaround. Your access continues through the end of the period you paid for. Full detail on our refund policy page.

How do I get a refund?

Email hello@wiredtype.com and tell us briefly what happened. Our windows:

  • Monthly subscriptions: cancel anytime, no mid-month refund as standard.
  • Annual subscriptions: 14-day refund window from purchase.
  • Team packages: 30-day refund window from purchase.

How do I update my card or billing email?

From your account page, open "Manage subscription" to update your payment method, change the billing email, or download past receipts.

Privacy & data

Is my data private?

Yes. We do not sell your data. We do not share your raw answers with anyone, including your team admin. We store the minimum needed to show you your profile and keep your account working. See our Privacy Policy and the Research Privacy Notice for the full picture.

How do I delete my account?

From your account page, open "Delete account." Or email hello@wiredtype.com from the address on the account. We remove your personal data within 30 days. Some records are kept longer where required by law (for example, billing records for tax reasons).

Who do I contact for help?

Email hello@wiredtype.com. We read every message and a real person replies, usually within one business day. No chatbots that loop you back to the same article.
