This page is the public profile of the I type. It is not your report. Take the free test to see your own result, and see the reports and prices for the full I report.

How this type works with each style

Written to you as the I. If you are the other person in the pair, read your own style's section for what this type needs from you.

DI and D (Dominance)

This pairing is energetic. The D-type brings direction and decisiveness; you bring social energy and buy-in. Together, you can launch initiatives quickly. The friction is real, though: D-types value efficiency, and your storytelling can feel like wasted time to them. They may cut you off mid-sentence. You may feel bulldozed. The key is respecting what each of you brings without trying to convert the other.

What this type can say: “I know you want the bottom line, so here it is: let's proceed. Now let me give you the 90-second version of how I got there, because the context matters for getting the team on board.”

II and I (Influence)

Two I-types in a room generate enthusiasm but struggle to follow through on their ideas. You brainstorm brilliantly, riff on each other's energy, and leave the meeting feeling like you just changed the world. Then neither of you will write down the action items. The energy is intoxicating. The output is optional unless one of you takes charge of follow-through.

What this type can say: “We both have incredible ideas flying right now. Let's pick ONE, write down three action items, and decide who owns each before we leave this room.”

SI and S (Steadiness)

This is a warm pairing in the DISC system. You bring enthusiasm; the S-type brings consistent support. They will listen to your ideas with genuine patience, support your vision with quiet loyalty, and handle the follow-through they have agreed to take on. In return, you pull them out of their comfort zone and add excitement to their steady world. The danger: your constant change exhausts them, and you may mistake their quiet frustration for contentment.

What this type can say: “I know I throw a lot at you. I want you to tell me when it is too much, because your stability helps me follow through on my ideas.”

CI and C (Conscientiousness)

You generate ideas; the C-type checks their quality. The C-type provides the structure, data, and quality control that your ideas desperately need. You provide the communication skills and enthusiasm to make the C-type's careful work reach an audience. Without you, their work stays buried. Without them, your ideas stay half-baked.

What this type can say: “I trust your analysis completely. Help me understand the key findings, and I will help you present them in a way that helps the team understand how to act on your work.”
