# WiredType

> WiredType is a DISC behavioral style assessment with a free five-scenario
> preview, paid in-depth reports for one of 25 profiles, an AI coach, and a
> team package. Built for self-understanding and better communication at work
> and at home. Not for hiring, tenant, credit, or clinical decisions.

WiredType scores forced-choice rankings with a Thurstonian ranking model. The
scores are ipsative: they describe a person's own ordering of the four styles
and do not rank that person against other people. WiredType checks
internal consistency across completed assessments and retest agreement on
signed-in retakes, and publishes a reliability, validity, or accuracy figure
only with its sample size and date; none is published yet.
