Your health data (Washington)

Last updated: October 11, 2026

The short version. WiredType does not set out to collect health information. If you turn on Remember my coach sessions, the short summary we keep of each coach session may include health details you choose to tell the coach. This page explains what that means and how to see, delete or stop it. It is our consumer health data privacy policy under Washington's My Health My Data Act.

1. What may count as health data

Health data here means health details you tell the AI coach (for example stress, sleep, anxiety or how you are feeling) that end up in a saved coach session summary. A summary is kept only if you turned on Remember my coach sessions in Settings. Your DISC result and Pressure Check describe your communication style. They are not health data, and we do not treat them as health data.

2. Where it comes from

It comes only from you, through what you write to the coach.

3. Why we keep it and how we use it

We keep it so the coach can continue where your last session left off. We use it for nothing else. We never use it for advertising, never sell it, never use it to decide your price or access, and never use it to train AI models.

4. Who receives it

OpenAI or Anthropic writes the summary for us, as our processor, under contracts that limit them to doing that. Supabase stores it and Netlify runs the site, also as our processors. We share health data with no other company, and we have no affiliates that receive it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep each summary for up to 12 months. Turning the setting off deletes the summaries at once. Deleting your account deletes them too. A copy can stay in our database provider's backups for up to 7 days.

6. Your rights

You can:

  • ask whether we hold health data about you, and get a copy of it, with the list of companies that receive it (section 4);
  • withdraw your consent by turning off Remember my coach sessions;
  • ask us to delete it, in Settings or by writing to privacy@wiredtype.com.

We answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we tell you, and we take at most 45 days more.

7. If you disagree with our answer

Write to privacy@wiredtype.com and ask for an appeal. A person at WiredType reviews it and answers you in writing within 45 days, saying what we did or did not do and why. If we turn your appeal down, you can complain to the Washington State Attorney General at https://www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
